Three leading pop culture events join forces in new concept: Heroes World
Easyfairs launches a 2.0 version on 17–18 October 2026 at Brussels Expo

5 June 2026 – Belgian event organiser Easyfairs is bringing together its three largest pop culture events under one new brand this autumn: Heroes World. The successful festivals Made in Asia, Heroes Comic Con, and GameForce are evolving into one integrated event, taking place on 17 and 18 October 2026 at Brussels Expo.
With this strategic transformation, Easyfairs is building on the success of the three existing events, which collectively attracted more than 60,000 visitors in 2025. Heroes World aims to expand on this strong foundation by offering a renewed visitor experience, a clear thematic structure, and an enhanced programme that brings together the full spectrum of modern pop culture.
One world for fans of movies, gaming, comics and more
Heroes World brings together enthusiasts of movies, TV series, gaming, comics, cosplay, collectables, and creative fandoms in one location. Thanks to a clear division into dedicated experience zones, visitors will be able to navigate the extensive offering more easily.
The event will feature, among others:
- Films & Series Garden, where visitors can meet well-known actors and take part in exclusive activities centred around popular film and television franchises.
- Creators Cave, a meeting place for international comic artists, illustrators, creators, and local talent.
- Game Island, an extensive gaming area featuring esports, indie games, retro gaming, board games, stages, and interactive experiences.
- Treasure Market, a large marketplace with hundreds of exhibitors offering a wide range of pop culture merchandise and collectables.
- Fan Bay, where dozens of fan clubs will showcase interactive sets, activities, and community-driven experiences.
Made in Asia remains an essential part of the event
Within the new format, Made in Asia will remain a key pillar of Heroes World and will have its own prominent dedicated zone during the autumn edition. In addition, the festival will continue to exist independently during its spring editions.
The Heroes Comic Con and GameForce brands will be fully integrated into Heroes World, while preserving their distinctive content and communities within the new festival concept.
A new chapter in the evolution of Belgian pop culture events
“Heroes World is more than just a new label on an existing successful formula,” says Anthony Audenaerd, Event Director of Heroes World. “This is a genuine 2.0 version of the collaboration between Made in Asia, Heroes Comic Con and GameForce, years in the making. It brings greater clarity to the event’s content and offers opportunities for expansion and new concepts, which we will be communicating extensively in the coming months. But the core remains the same: a warm community festival that places a strong emphasis on togetherness and a shared love of pop culture, with spectacular activities and unique encounters.”
“The evolution of Heroes Comic Con, Made in Asia and GameForce into the unified festival Heroes World will redefine what a pop culture event should be,” says Anne Lafère, co-CEO of Easyfairs, the organiser behind Heroes World. “Our mission is to serve communities, give them a vision of their future, foster connections and offer life‑changing experiences. With Heroes World we are creating a true meeting place where fans can find their tribe and celebrate their passion for stories and characters in all their forms as never before. This new event offers something fresh, while building on the extensive expertise we have gained over the past decade. I have no doubt it will be a spectacular and unforgettable experience.”
